What have you come as Wednesday?

March 30, 2011

Whoopsie I seem to have lost a couple of weeks there – Fashion Festival and some hefty client work has left this pardipardi somewhat neglected. Apologies.

The fruits of my absence though are a couple of guest What have you come as’ coming up!

Here is none other than the gorgeous Samantha Hardman of Melbourne clothing label Bento. The collection of high quality heirloom pieces is made within 10kms of her Seddon home and it’s all gorgeous!

Sam and I at Fashion Fest

Here’s me in a beautiful Bento silk blouse…. it kind of feels like wearing… affection. It’s caressy and silky (duh) and divine.

a little 'I just saw Helena Christensen walk' smile...

The leather neckpieces are by the wonderful Rebecca at Pine Lime. I wore the pants and tie to the mens show where we got to see Helena Christensen walk (hello new girl crush!). Cheryl decided I should style the blouse with jeans and the brown neckpiece for the bridal shows on Sunday.

yeah... I stand like this all the time...

Great idea until…

there is nothing quite so mortifying as your outfit walking down the runway...

bother.

Generally if I’m going to steal someone’s outfit I avoid the 16foot blonde’s but hey…

To top that off I ran into Mr World, Miss World and a couple of runners up on the tram. Not only were they gorgeous (as is the amazing Laura Anderson who was also travelling on the tram in a stunning gown, just to give them a taste of Melbourne) they were ridiculously lovely.

One of these things is not like the other one... Tramming it: Emma Wareus, Kamal Ibrahim, Lou Pardi, Alexandria Mills and Adriana Vasini.

Anyway, back to the task at hand. Samantha, and her gorgeous turban.

dooo do do do do do do...

doo do dodo dodododo

Of course she’s come as…

hit the bottle...

And before you get all women’s lib/but master on my ass…
